Everyone at our place in the alps loved the table. I received many compliments. We ate lunch and then put a plywood ping pong table topper that I built on top. I did the Sugi Ban and used Sikkens HLS Plus in ebony (in the photos the top is not fully stained). The only real change i made to the plans was to put birds mouths on the lower angled supports and then tied these into a block in the center to make them rely more on compression of the supports.
